The Food Box is a donation-based food pantry located in 308 Dalton Hall that is available to the entire Winthrop community. In addition to shelf-stable food, The Food Box offers some personal care items such as toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, and feminine products. An appointment is required; visit the link for more info.
My Ride - The local bus system is FREE to ride and travels four fixed routes along key corridors of the city of Rock Hill. The buses are all electric, ADA compliant, and have free WiFi, mobile charging ports, and infotainment screens for riders to enjoy.
York County Library has a Main Library in Rock Hill and four other branches as well as an online digital branch and outreach program, all of which offer numerous opportunities for education, recreation, and exploration.
The Winthrop University Community Counseling Clinic provides free professional counseling, consultation, and referral services to adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families in the local community (enrolled Winthrop students should seek services through the Center for Student Wellness).
NAMI Piedmont Tri-County offers no-cost education, support, and advocacy for people who live with mental health conditions and their loved ones.
